A beautiful smile can say so much without actually ‘saying’ anything at all.
To me, a beautiful smile conveys:
1) Happiness – Although true happiness and beauty come from within (yes I really do believe this), what people see can speak volumes.
It’s all around us: Magazine covers, movies, television, media…image.
I don’t feel that happiness is based on our physical state, but at the same time, having a beautiful smile sure doesn’t hurt.
2) Confidence – Everything that I wrote above for ’Happiness’ applies to Confidence as well. But we can expand on this.
Every morning when we wake up, we put on an invisible suit of armor (mask included), to help face the day. I think we’ve all felt this way at one time or another.
A beautiful smile goes hand-in-hand with this. It is a part of the invisible mask that we put on each day. It helps us in the confidence department and who couldn’t use some help with this aspect.
3) Wellness – I’m very much into wellness…do whatever it takes to feel good. If you ‘shine’ a beautiful smile every day, it usually says a lot about your inner well-being.
Exercising, eating well, meditation, yoga…these are all part of wellness and are all expressed through what else, of course; a beautiful smile!
